Antaeus is a Black woman-led social impact firm committed to revitalizing grassroots power and connecting progressive movements with the communities they serve. Inspired by its namesake, the organization grounds its work in the realities of everyday Americans to drive meaningful, sustainable change.

Drawing from the myth of Antaeus, I aimed to create a brand that feels rooted—both visually and within the community—because that’s where our power comes from. The brand framework I developed emphasizes simplicity and boldness, allowing people and clear messaging to take center stage. The color palette evokes excitement and optimism about organizing and the work ahead, bringing warmth and vibrancy to the identity. A diverse typographic system introduces a balance between seriousness and playfulness, making the brand feel fresh and approachable—especially for audiences looking to break out of traditional “political” aesthetics.
