"The People Who Show Up" profiles Linda Aguillon, now a member of Generation Hope's Dallas local advisory board, tracing her journey from teen mother in Fort Worth to longtime educator, school board trustee, and executive director. The piece highlights the mentors who shaped her path — a pharmacist who took a chance on her as a work-study student and later helped her family buy a home, a classmate who pointed her toward a scholarship, and an advisor who steered her into bilingual education — framing Linda's story as a testament to how community support can alter the trajectory of a young parent's life, and to why she now pays that support forward through her work with Generation Hope.
